Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- granulated sugar
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pumpkin
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground ginger - 1 tsp
- dash of ginger - 1 item
- dash of cloves - 1 item
- Beat in eggs, pumpkin and vanilla
How to make pumpkin bars:
In mixing bowl, cream sugar and margarine. Beat in eggs, pumpkin and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, mixin until just blended. Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes (maybe more). While slightly warm, frost with icing.Icing:1/4 c. packed brown sugar3 Tbsp. margarine2 Tbsp. milk1/4 tsp. cinnamon dash of ginger dash of cloves In saucepan, combine ingredients. Cook and stir until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and slowly beat in 1 cup powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
