Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- soda
- buttermilk - 1 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- allspice - 1 tsp
- syrup - 1 Tbsp
- cooked prunes, chopped into small pieces - 1 c
- Add milk, sugar and oil
How to make prune cake:
Beat eggs. Add milk, sugar and oil. Add dry ingredients. Grease a 9 x 13 x 3-inch pan. Pour in mixture and bake at 300° for 40 minutes. Frost.Glace Icing:1/2 c. buttermilk1/2 c. margarine1/2 c. sugar1 Tbsp. syrup1 tsp. vanilla Bring to a rolling boil. Test in a small amount of water.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
