How to make almond joy cake:
Prepare cake mix according to directions on box. When layers have cooled, split them in two with thread. Then mix sugar, sour cream and thawed coconut together. Set aside 1 cup of mixture. Put remaining mixture between the layers. Add 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip to the cup of reserved mixture, to frost the cake.
