  • frozen whipped topping, thawed - 2 c
  • margarine, melted - 3/4 c
  • softened cream cheese - 1 (8
  • crushed pretzels - 2 c

How to make pretzel salad:

Mix crushed pretzels, margarine and sugar (3 tablespoons) together. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Mix the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold 2 cups whipped topping into cream cheese mixture; spread over cooled pretzel crust.
