Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- crushed pretzels not fine - 2 c
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- Cool Whip - 10 oz
- strawberry Jell-O
- hot water
- pkg - 2 oz
How to make pretzel salad:
Preheat oven to 400°. Mix the first 3 ingredients and bake 8 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Remove and pat down. Cool.Mix cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and Cool Whip and spread over pretzel mixture.
Dissolve Jell-O in water; stir in strawberries. Cool until partially set, then spoon over cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight. This makes a lot; may want to halve recipe for 4 to 6 people.
