Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • crushed pretzels - 1 c
  • box strawberry gelatin - 1 oz

How to make pretzel salad:

Melt butter; mix with pretzels, sugar and pecans. Pat into bottom of 9 x 2 x 13-inch dish. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°. Cool.

Beat cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread on top of baked pretzel mixture. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries. Stir until gelatin begins to thicken. Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate for 2 hours.
