- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 1 (8
- margarine - 3/4 c
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
- fruit - 2 c
- large box strawberry jello - 1 item
How to make pretzel salad:
Mix crushed pretzels, sugar and butter. Place in Pyrex dish and bake 6 minutes at 400°. Let cool.Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar and pour over pretzels.
Mix jello and water. Cool somewhat and add fruit (apples, strawberries, etc.). Pour over cheese mixture before it gets too thick. Chill and serve as a light dessert or salad on lettuce leaves.
