Ingredients/Components
- large potatoes - 4 item
- onion, cut fine - 1 item
- celery, cut fine - 1 c
- hard-boiled eggs - 2 item
- Peel and slice into a bowl with alternate layers of onion, celery and eggs
- water - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make potato salad:
Scrub potatoes and boil in salted water until soft. Peel and slice into a bowl with alternate layers of onion, celery and eggs. Mix with the following dressing and refrigerate for 8 hours before serving.Dressing:1 beaten egg1/2 c. water1 Tbsp. flour1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. vinegar2 Tbsp. butter1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper Combine in the order given, stirring after each addition.
