Potato chowder
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken broth
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- potatoes, cubed - 1 lb
- celery slices - 1/2 c
- light cream or milk - 1 c
- salt and dash of pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sliced carrot rounds - 1 c
- grated Swiss or Jack cheese - 2 c
How to make potato chowder:
Combine half the potatoes with broth in saucepan with tight fitting lid. Bring to boil; simmer until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork, about 10 minutes. Mash potatoes with a fork. Stir in remaining potatoes, carrots, corn, celery, onionRecipe categories: Potato, Soups & stews, Chowders.
