  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • crushed potato chips - 1 c
  • cut up nuts optional - 1 c

How to make potato chip cookies:

Cream well the white and brown sugars and shortening. Add the eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Add potato chips and nuts. Beat well with a spoon. Place by teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
