Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/3 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- chicken broth - 2 qt
- milk or enough to make soft dough - 1/4 c
How to make pot pie:
Sift together flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk and eggs together. Add egg and milk mixture to flour mixture. Stir with a fork until dough is of right consistency. Remove dough from bowl. Flour dough lightly. Divide dough into 2 parts. Roll out very thin on floured board. Cut into small squares and drop into boiling chicken broth. Boil about 10 minutes, covered.
