Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- uncooked regular rice - 1/2 c
- Melt 2 tablespoons shortening in large skillet and brown
How to make porcupines:
Mix meat, rice, water, onion, salts and pepper together and shape into meatballs. Melt 2 tablespoons shortening in large skillet and brown. Drain off fat.Sauce:1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce1 c. water2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine tomato sauce, water and Worcestershire sauce and pour over meatballs in pan. Reduce heat and cover.
