  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • poppy seed - 1/3 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • cooking sherry - 1/2 c
  • small instant vanilla pudding mix - 1 item
  • sour cream small carton - 1 item
  • Mix all ingredients by hand until well mixed
  • real lemon juice or vanilla - 2 tsp

How to make poppy seed cake:

Use large mixing bowl. Mix all ingredients by hand until well mixed. Then on high speed for 5 minutes. Bake in a well-greased tube pan in a 325° oven for 1 hour.Icing:1 c. confectioners sugar2 tsp. real lemon juice or vanilla Mix confectioners sugar and real lemon juice or vanilla. Pour over cake while warm.
