Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 2
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- hot water - 1 c
- poppy seed - 1/4 c
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- instant coconut pudding - 1 pkg
- each pkg - 2 oz
How to make poppy seed cake:
Frosting;1/2 c. butter, softened2 (3 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. powdered sugar1 to 2 Tbsp. milk Beat all ingredients. Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 300° for 50 to 55 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting when cool.Frosting: Mix all ingredients together for frosting. Spread onto poppy seed cake.
