Pizza spaghetti
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 2/3 c
- melted margarine - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 Tbsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- salt to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded Swiss cheese - 1 c
- sliced pepperoni - 4 oz
- Mozzarella, shredded - 1 c
- can mushrooms, undrained stems and pieces - 1 oz
How to make pizza spaghetti:
Combine cheeses and set aside. Combine and cook ground beef, salt and onions until tender. Add pepperoni. Stir in tomato paste, water, mushrooms and oregano. Cook vermicelli; drain. Combine vermicelli and margarine. Toss well. Add to meat sauce. Reserve 1 cup of cheese mixture. Combine rest of cheese with meat mixture. Spoon into greased 2 1/2-quart casserole or long dish. Sprinkle with reserved cheese and top with pepperoni. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
