Pistachio cake
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- milk
- butter - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 2/3 c
- Cool Whip - 12 oz
- nuts optional - 1 item
- plus 2 tsp - 1 c
- pistachio pudding - 2 pkg
How to make pistachio cake:
Crust: Mix well the flour, butter and nuts. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 15 minutes. Let cool.First Layer: Mix well the powdered sugar, cream cheese and half of a 12 ounce container of Cool Whip. Spread over crust.
Second Layer: Mix well the pistachio instant pudding and milk. Pour over the first layer.
Topping: Spread the rest of the Cool Whip over top and sprinkle nuts over top.
Variations: You can substitute pistachio instant pudding with your favorite pudding.
