Pink lemonade pie
Ingredients/Components
- envelope unflavored gelatin - 1 item
- cold water - 1/4 c
- can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed undiluted - 1 oz
- sugar - 3/4 c
- evaporated milk, chilled - 1 c
- red food coloring - 1 item
- 9-inch pie crust shell, baked - 1 item
How to make pink lemonade pie:
Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and undiluted lemonade concentrate in saucepan. Place over low heat. Stir constantly until gelatin dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Chill, stirring occasionally, until completely cooled. Pour chilled evaporated milk into chilled mixing bowl; beat at high speed of mixer until stiff, about 5 minutes. Fold in cooled gelatin mixture. Add a few drops of food coloring to make pink.
