Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch
  • water - 1/2 c
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • light brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • grated lemon rind - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • olive oil - 1 tsp
  • can crushed pineapple in juice - 1 1/4
  • Dijon style mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • coarse grained mustard - 1 Tbsp

How to make pineapple sauce:

Combine both mustards, butter, olive oil, lemon rind, lemon juice and pepper in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until butter melts and mixture is hot, stirring occasionally. Sauce can be made a day ahead and refrigerated, covered. Gently reheat.
