Ingredients/Components
- vinegar
- few cloves - 1 item
- or 4 sticks cinnamon - 3 item
- sugar preferably brown - 2 lb
- pears, cut in quarters - 4 qt
How to make pickled pears:
Make a syrup with the sugar, vinegar and cinnamon. Cook them together for 20 minutes. Cook pears in syrup until tender, a few at a time. Put pears in jar; boil the syrup 10 minutes longer, then pour over pears and seal.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, Pears.
