Pickled okra
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 c
- water - 1 qt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- clove garlic - 1 item
- okra - 1 item
- pod red pepper - 1 item
How to make pickled okra:
Wash and dry tender young okra. Pack in clean jars. Add 1 clove garlic and 1 pod red pepper to each pint jar. Mix vinegar, water and salt. Bring to a boil and pour over okra and seal.Recipe categories: American, North american, Kwanzaa.
