Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- pine nuts - 3 Tbsp
- olive oil - 1 c
- basil leaves - 2 c
- grated Romano cheese - 1 c
How to make pesto genovese:
Blend oil, cheese, pine nuts, salt, pepper and garlic in a blender until smooth. To this mixture add the basil and blend until smooth. Freeze in 1/2 cup portions.
