Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soft butter - 3 Tbsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • pine nuts - 2 Tbsp
  • olive oil - 1/2 c
  • fresh basil - 2 c
  • Romano - 2 Tbsp
  • hot water from boiled pasta - 1 Tbsp

How to make pesto genovese:

Blend basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt in blender first, then add remainder of ingredients. You will love this recipe. I cut the olive oil. I also double this recipe and pour into small yogurt cups. Can be frozen.
