Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- soft butter - 3 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- pine nuts - 2 Tbsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- fresh basil - 2 c
- Romano - 2 Tbsp
- hot water from boiled pasta - 1 Tbsp
How to make pesto genovese:
Blend basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt in blender first, then add remainder of ingredients. You will love this recipe. I cut the olive oil. I also double this recipe and pour into small yogurt cups. Can be frozen.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Pasta, Pasta, rice and grains.
