Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• water - 1/2 c
• egg whites - 2 item
• pecans - 1 item
• syrup - 1/2 c

How to make perfect divinity:

Mix first 4 ingredients using a candy thermometer. When it gets to 250°, beat egg whites until forms stiff peaks. Cook until 260° hard ball stage. Pour into egg whites, beating as you pour. Beat for 4 to 5 minutes. Drop by spoons on wax paper; top with a pecan.
