Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- pkg - 4 oz
- flour, sifted - 1 c
- light brown sugar
- butter no substitute - 1/4 lb
- unbeaten eggs - 2 item
How to make pecan tarts:
Mix together flour, butter and cream cheese. Crumble like pie crust. Form in walnut-size balls. Line small pastry cups, using fingers, with dough.Mix together brown sugar, eggs, pecans and vanilla. Pour into pastry cups. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Lower oven temperature to 275°. Bake 45 minutes until set.
