  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 4 oz
  • flour, sifted - 1 c
  • light brown sugar
  • butter no substitute - 1/4 lb
  • unbeaten eggs - 2 item

How to make pecan tarts:

Mix together flour, butter and cream cheese. Crumble like pie crust. Form in walnut-size balls. Line small pastry cups, using fingers, with dough.

Mix together brown sugar, eggs, pecans and vanilla. Pour into pastry cups. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Lower oven temperature to 275°. Bake 45 minutes until set.
