Pecan tarts
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- finely chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 3 oz
How to make pecan tarts:
Combine margarine, cream cheese and flour in bowl; mix well. Chill in refrigerator. Shape into small balls. Press into miniature muffin cups. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl. Place 1 teaspoon in each prepared muffin cup. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool. Freeze if desired. Yields 2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cheese.
