  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • white sugar - 3/4 c
  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • chopped pecans optional - 1/2 c

How to make pecan sandies:

Most important part to mixing these cookies is to beat oleo and sugar at high speed for 10 minutes. Very important. Dissolve soda in vinegar. Mix with flour and vanilla, then nuts, if desired. Drop by spoon and bake at 275° for 30 minutes.
