Pecan pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• melted butter - 3 Tbsp
• pecans - 1 c
• Karo syrup dark - 3/4 c
• 8 or 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
• or 4 eggs, beaten slightly - 3 item

How to make pecan pie:

Mix ingredients and place in pie shell. Bake in hot oven at 400° about 15 minutes and then reduce to 340° for another 20 minutes.
