Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- Ritz crackers, crumbled fine - 20 item
How to make pecan pie:
Mix crackers, nuts and 1/2 of the sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add vanilla and remaining sugar. Fold into cracker and nut mixture. Pour into a 9-inch buttered pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Chill and top with whipped cream. This is excellent.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
