Ingredients/Components
- soft margarine - 1 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- pecans, ground or finely chopped in blender - 2 c
- pecan halves - 1 item
How to make pecan dainties:
Cream margarine and sugar until light. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Chill until firm. Shape into 3/4-inch balls. Top each with pecan half. Bake at 325° for about 30 minutes. Roll warm cookies in very fine granulated sugar. Yields 6 dozen. Store in airtight container. Will not ship well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Egg, Candy.
