Pecan cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/4 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• water - 1 Tbsp
• self-rising flour - 2 c
• pecans, chopped - 2 c
• Powdered sugar - 1 item

How to make pecan cookies:

Mix first 4 ingredients together, and chill for 1 hour. After chilling, add flour and pecans to first mixture. Shape into balls, about the size of a small marble. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 250° 1 hour. Roll in powdered sugar immediately after removing from oven. Yield: 90-100 small cookies.
