Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 lb
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- pears 28 to 30 - 6 lb
How to make pear honey:
Peel pears and cut up. Grind pears with large cutter. Cook juice and pears together; add sugar. Cook until thick (1 hour approximately), stirring frequently. Add pineapple; cook 20 minutes or longer. Put into hot jars and seal. Makes 8 pints.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, Pears.
