Ingredients/Components
- chopped pears - 4 or
- eggs - 2 item
- sugar
- pecans - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- oil - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 1
How to make pear cake:
Chop pears. Add 1/2 cup sugar; set aside for 1 hour. Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla and cooking oil. Sift the flour, soda, salt and spice together and add to egg mixture. Add chopped pears and pecans; mix well. Preheat oven to 325°. Pour batter into tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.(Note: There is no milk or liquids.)
