Pear cake

Ingredients/Components

• chopped pears - 4 or
• eggs - 2 item
• sugar
• pecans - 1 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• oil - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• cinnamon - 1/2 1

How to make pear cake:

Chop pears. Add 1/2 cup sugar; set aside for 1 hour. Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla and cooking oil. Sift the flour, soda, salt and spice together and add to egg mixture. Add chopped pears and pecans; mix well. Preheat oven to 325°. Pour batter into tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
