Peanut butter fudge
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- jar marshmallow cream - 1 oz
- jar creamy peanut butter - 1 oz
How to make peanut butter fudge:
Butter sides and bottom of a large Dutch oven, leaving excess butter in pan. Add sugar and evaporated milk, stirring well. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches soft ball stage or a candy thermometer registers 234°. Remove from heat; add peanut butter and marshmallow cream, beating with a wooden spoon until blended. Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan or dish; cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, Fudge.
