Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream together butter, vanilla and sugars. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in peanut butter, then sifted dry ingredients. Form into balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press down with prongs of fork. Bake in a 375° oven for about ten minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
