Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • peanut butter - 1 c
  • can evaporated milk - 12 oz
  • small jar marshmallow cream - 1 item

How to make peanut butter candy:

Note: One 12 ounce package of chocolate chips may be substituted for peanut butter.

Melt margarine in pan over medium heat. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Bring mixture to a boil and a soft ball stage when dropped in water. (Test by dropping small amount in cold cup of water.) Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add marshmallow cream and beat until candy hardens and spread into pan.
