Peanut butter cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- flour
- butter - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- peanut butter - 1/4 c
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- sour milk - 1 c
- Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to sour milk; mix well
How to make peanut butter cake:
To make sour milk, mix 1 cup milk with 2 tablespoons vinegar.Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to sour milk; mix well. Set aside. In another bowl cream together butter and sugar. Add egg. Stir. Add sour milk mixture. Stir and add 1/4 cup peanut butter, flour, vanilla and salt. Pour into a greased and floured 11 x 7 x 2-inch pan.
For a moister cake, instead of flour use sugar to flour pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Frosting:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. butter2 tsp. milk1/8 tsp. peanut butter1 Tbsp. hot water Mix together until creamy.
