Peanut butter brownies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sifted flour
- chopped peanuts - 1 c
- light brown sugar
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- light brown sugar, packed
- creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
- eggs room temperature - 2 item
- butter/oleo
How to make peanut butter brownies:
Topping:3/4 c. light brown sugar4 1/2 Tbsp. butter/oleo3 Tbsp. honey1 1/2 Tbsp. milk1/2 c. chopped peanuts Sift together first 3 ingredients. In medium bowl, cream peanut butter and butter thoroughly. Add brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add dry ingredients, stirring to blend well. Fold in peanuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Cool to lukewarm.Topping: Combine sugar, butter, honey and milk in small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook slowly for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in peanuts. Spread over lukewarm brownies. Cool and cut into squares.
