  • sugar - 1 c
  • soda
  • light corn syrup - 1 c
  • raw peanuts - 2 c

How to make peanut brittle:

Cook peanuts, sugar and syrup to hard crack stage. Add soda and stir briskly; pour into buttered pan but don't spread. Put in cool place until hard; break into pieces. Store in tightly covered tin.
