Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • sugar for rolling cookies - 1/4 c
  • chocolate "Kisses" for decoration - 1 item

How to make peanut blossoms:

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and egg together. Add vanilla. Mix together the flour, soda and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture. Shape into balls and roll in 1/4 cup of sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. R
