Peanut blossom cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• chocolate kisses - 1 item
• peanut butter - 1/2 c

How to make peanut blossom cookies:

Mix dry ingredients. Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Blend dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly. Shape into round balls about 1-inch. Roll in sugar and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and place a chocolate kiss on each cookie by pressing down. Return to oven for a minute or two.
