Ingredients/Components

  • mashed 8 to 10 large or 4 c - 4 c
  • 8 oz - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • dried chives or 1 Tbsp - 1 tsp
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
  • melted butter - 1 Tbsp
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c

How to make party potatoes:

In large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, chives and garlic powder. Turn into a greased 2-quart casserole. Combine bread crumbs with butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Top with cheese and serve immediately. Dish can be assembled a day ahead and baked just before serving. Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
