Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water
- toasted sesame seed, crushed - 1/4 c
- small coconut, grated - 1 item
- sweet rice flour - 3 c
How to make palitaw:
Combine rice flour and 1 1/2 cups water; blend thoroughly. With floured hands, shape dough into egg-sized ovals and flatten with thumb.Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Drop palitaw balls in boiling water. Scoop out with a slotted spoon as soon as they float. Roll in grated coconut. Serve with sugar, mixed with toasted sesame seed.
