Overnight rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- yeast or 1 Tbsp - 1 pkg
How to make overnight rolls:
Mix water, sugar, butter or margarine and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Mix 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 2 tablespoons warm water and yeast; stir to dissolve, then add to first mixture. Add beaten eggs. Stir in 2 cups of the flour; beat well about 3 minutes. Add remaining 2 cups flour and beat. Refrigerate until very cold. Roll for rolls. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut. Put into greased pan. Let set on cupboard overnight.In the morning, bake at 375° for about 15 minutes. Glaze while warm.
