Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shredded carrots - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- shredded cabbage
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- chow mein noodles
- water chestnuts, drained - 1/2 can
- pineapple tidbits with juice - 1/4 c
How to make oriental salad:
Combine cabbage, carrots, pepper, onions, water chestnuts and pineapple. In a small bowl mix vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Mix into vegetables. Marinate several hours. Add chow mein noodles just before serving.Recipe categories: Fruit, Salads, Side dish.
