Orange cookies

Ingredients/Components

• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• soda - 1/4 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c
• nuts optional
• white sugar - 1/2 c
• orange juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make orange cookies:

Cream shortening, sugar and egg; mix well. Sift soda and flour together and add to the creamed mixture with orange juice. Bake 12 to 15 minutes in 375° oven or until edges are browned.
