Oatmeal sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• brown sugar - 1 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• flour
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• cinnamon - 2 tsp
• quick oatmeal - 3 c

How to make oatmeal sugar cookies:

Cream sugars with shortening. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, then add quick oatmeal.

Roll in balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar and flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
