Oatmeal raisin cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- brown sugar, firmly packed - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- Sun-Maid raisins - 1 c
- 2 sticks margarine or butter soft - 1 c
- oats Quaker quick or old fashion - 3 c
How to make oatmeal raisin cookies:
Heat oven to 350°. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to margarine mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Cool. Store in airtight container.
