Oatmeal crisps
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- oleo - 2 c
- brown sugar, packed - 2 c
- quick-cooking oats - 6 c
How to make oatmeal crisps:
Cream together oleo and sugars until fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Drop by spoonfuls onto well-greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes about 14 dozen.
Variations: Raisins, pecans, walnuts and coconut.
