Oatmeal cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter - 1/4 c
• sugar - 1/2 c
• all-purpose flour
• salt - 1 tsp
• oats - 3 c
• egg - 1 item
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• nutmeg - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, spices and soda. Stir in oats. Bake at 375° for 8 to 9 minutes for soft cookies.
