Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 3/4 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cream butter and brown and white sugar together. Add egg, water, vanilla, flour, salt and soda. Beat well. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
